Grad 2015

This year I have 2 special people graduating from different levels of education. My cousin graduates University... Go Kristi!! And my oldest neice graduates High School... Wahoo Andrea!!!
So I needed to whip up some cards for them and used the sketches from both Freshly Made Sketches and Tuesday Morning Sketches. I did modify the sketches alittle to use them for these images but that's called creative license isn't it? And while we are talking creative... know the definition of craft hoarder? Someone who keeps grad hat confetti for 12yrs cuz one day she might use it... Yup that's right! The little grad hats on these cards were confetti in my grad gifts 12 years ago!! LOL
Without further ado here are the sketches:

For these cards I used:
Copics: N9,8,7,6,0; E000,00,04,11,21; R20,22; RV 25,23,21; G14,16,17; Y17,15,13; B39,37,34
Tim Holtz Squeezed Lemonade distress ink, CTMH A thing well done stamps (on the inside of the blue), CTMH Topiary, Black and Outdoor denim inks

I also whipped up this littl gift card holder to go with it. I hope you like them!!

Calendar layouts

I know you guys haven't seen a calendar layout from me yet... And that's because the lady I take all my classes through and attend my monthly scrap night with designs them. I hate to take credit for her work so I never post them. This month however, I did some fun coloring to her design so I thought I would share.
This layout was designed by Chelsey Vorosmarty of Personal Touch Scrapbooking. Go take a look at her work she's so talented!!

So as you all know I ran out of the CTMH Blossom paper mid-scrapbooks and thats what I use for calendar layouts every month. So I took some paper that matches with the Blossom to create my layout. I misted the white cardstock with Color Bloom Gilded to give my pages some texture.
I did some creative designing in DS to create the hibiscus border-- not fun! I cut it on copics paper and colored it up with:
Copics: BG18,15,13,11; R27,24,22,21;Y17; YG17,13,11

Other supplies used:
Life is a beach cartridge
CTMH Hello Summer stamps
CTMH Lagoon ink
CTMH Coral Reef sequins

Now I have to go design a pooh bear new baby layout... See you soon!

Crafts for Clearwater

I thought I would give you alittle sneak peak of my Crafts for Clearwater Digis. I started working on them last night and they are not done but I wanted to give you alittle peak while you still have time to pop over and get 'em!!

These 2 are done by the amazing Alyce Keegan. She is my colorist teacher at Kit and Clowder. These prints are available for purchase for a short time only HERE. They are on postcard type paper ready to frame or mail or whatever you would like! All the proceeds from the sale of these prints is going to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium cuz Alyce rocks!!

See you in alittle while once I get some more creating done!!

Pocket Scrapbooking Cards

For Aprils scrapbooks I ordered a paper pack bacause sadly the paper I wanted doesn't come in Picture My Life card ;( So I had full intentions of making my own! I thought it would be soooo fun!! it actaully was a lot of work... But I love the results!! I had planned on making them all fancy and using my cricut to write phrases on them and stamps and cut images out of them... I ended up with much less patterned paper left over than anticipated... But I made 3 2pg 12x12 layouts out of one paper pack with left overs so that's a win!! I had all these plans and then I ordered the Carnival Washi tape to go with the kit... Cricut not needed.. stamps... very few... this Washi is awesome!! Lol
Take a peek at what I created and let me know what you think!!
I will be making more of these journaling cards in the next few months... Hint Hint... Design Team inspiration over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog ;) So stay tuned for those!!

You all alittle later with some more Dolphins and Mermaids from Kit and Clowder Facebook Group celebration!!

More Tulips!!

My wonderful boss is so sweet when she's not being all "the boss" LOL
One of my customers saw the little tulip pot I made Mary Jane and asked if she could buy it... Janie brought it to my attention and I told her to do it!! I can create another almost exactly the same!! So what does Janie do?? She gives it away!! LOL So sweet!
So back to the craft room I went to create her another tulip pot. I think it turned out great! And because I had time I added a "Happy Mothers Day" tag to it so that I could use it for my last competitor entry on Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. I have been asked to be a part of thier Design Team and I am beyond excited!!!
So for this project I used "Gaby's Garden" from thier sponsor SVG Attic, CTMH Artiste Cartridge, pink crayola marker, Bo Bunny Sweet Life paper, pink buttons, CTMH Creme Brulee bakers twine and decorative shred.

Thanks for stopping in today!!

Thank you gifts for my oldest daughters Playschool Teachers

My daughter attends a playschool called Mother Goose and I got it in my head that taking a cut from Cricut Word Collage cartridge and doing some slicing and enlarging would make them some really cool water bottles... until the water bottles I wanted were really outrageously priced... Not that these were much better but Hub figured they deserved quality for putting up with our tot all year!! And for teaching her so so so so so much!!

Now to get bags and make up some cards... I have 2 weeks... and he's gone for 9 days... should be a snap right? :S LOL
