Mermaid Birthday Tag- Using Ching Chou Kuik "Magic Wish"

Hello everyone!! I got to do some crafting just for fun this week! And so much fun it was!! I have missed not getting to color some of my favorite artists just for fun especially my Ching Chou Kuik images!!
Its Ching Chou Kuik's birthday this month so her DT is throwing a celebration challenge in her honor in the Facebook Group and I had time to play along!!! I used the beautiful Magic Wish digi to create this fun birthday tag in her honor!
Its such a sweet image! I had so much fun using some new techniques I've recently learned... some worked! and some did not... LOL

I've been practicing creating a water color looking background with my copic refills... how did I do? I used some Liquid Pearls for the bubbles; perfect pearls painted on for the stars; and some wink of stella for the tail and its soooo shiny!!!

I tried using distress inks in an embossing folders to create a multi-tonal background and then clear emboss on top for a shiny multi-tonal but that didn't work but the little bits of ink that did get on the background allowed the embossing powder to stick so it ended up creating a really cool fluid background.

All the coral, seaweed and see life are stamped with a Kaiser Craft stamp and then my own blends of Perfect Pearls embossing powders. I sprinkled the different colors in all different places to highlight the different foliage and then heated it up. The end result is so shiny and colorful!!

See sooooo shiny!!! I coated a chipboard seahorse with liquid pearls too. Then my Cricut cut the sentiment for me. I love that my Cricut will do the writing for me! I designed the circle set it to write and put in a Ranger Perfect Medium Pen. The sprinkled it with my homemade Interference Red Perfect Pearl embossing powder and ta-da!

Thanks so much for popping in today to see what I've been up to!! Can't wait to see you all back again!!

Winter Wonderland Paperscape Box card using Flowers, Feathers and Fairies "Luna Fay"

What's up ya'll!!!! I'm so excited to share with you all that I have been asked to be on another Design Team. This time for Flowers, Feathers and Fairies!!! I adore her images and I cannot wait to share more with you this year!!! I get to do the first ever post for our Design Team and I am soooo honored!! So I thought I better rock this project out of the park!! And I really think I did!!! LOL I love it!!!
Meet Luna Fay!!! I know I worked with her a few weeks ago but I love it!! And she went perfectly with this months Create and Learn class from Kit and Clowder!! The class was a dream this month, you guys! Seriously so much fun!!! And I ended up with this beautiful peice but I really struggled with what to do with it didn't I, Wanda? LOL
So here is what I came up with:

I used the Dreaming Tree Winter Wonderland Paperscape Box Card to frame this beautiful image into an awesome Christmas card!!!

I used a CTMH stamp set and some home made Perfect Pearls embossing powder for the sentiment. I also dusted all the white pieces in a Gold and White Perfect Pearl mix. I wanted them to shine and shimmer and compliment the background with out being over poweringly gold.

I did end up doing a little modifying to the Dreaming Tree cuts so that they wouldn't cover poor Mr. Polar Bears face but the end result is perfect!! The box card just frames this piece so beautifully!! Seriously how beautiful does Luna Fay look encircled in those snowy branches!!?

The side views are equally as lovely!! Dreaming Tree does such an awesome job of putting together these completed projects for us to cut and create!! And Luna Fay just goes so perfectly in that winter scene with her armored Polar Bear!!!

And just for that added pop of WOW!! The box cards are designed for a battery operated tea light to slide inside!! I am floored by how beautiful Luna Fay looks all lite up in there!!! Just stunning she is!!!

So there you go my friends!! Todays project for you!! I'm gonna take just a sec to send you all the links to the pretty things too!! Flowers, Feathers and Fairies is fairly new to the digital stamp world so please lets show her some love!! You will be floored by some of these incredible images!!

Come and hang out with us!!!

Thanks for popping by today!! I hope you loved what you saw!!!

I am entering this card in the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge.

Faery Ink- One Dae Fae; Pocket Valentines Using Doodlebug Valentines Lollipop

Hey You Guys!! Welcome to 2017's first One Dae Fae!!! This is Doodlebug Valentine Lollipop!! Isn't she just so sweet!!!
This month Faery Ink thought it would be fun to give you an image to create Valentines for your little people at school! So I did just that!!!
Amanda will very kindly "be making an exception to my Terms of Use for this image. I'll allow people to color it once (or let their children color it etc.) and then print enough copies for their classroom to pass out for Valentine's day."
How fun is that!!?? So I did just that! I colored up this little cuttie, scanned her into the computer and printed off 56 copies. Yes that's right 56!! One kid in kindergarden (27kids!! and teachers), one in playschool and then enough for our play group as well. Figured as long as I was doing it I might as well get em done!! Took me an entire day to make them all but now it's one less thing to worry about in February!!
I cut these little pocket envelopes in my Cricut Design Space to slide the little Valentine in and out of.
On this larger one, that I'm not sure who it will be for just yet, I decorated the outside of the envelope.
I embossed some little hearts right to the envelope, embossing some wooden hearts with Perfect Pearls, and then embossing the sentiment as well with Magicals.

For the little ones to go to the classrooms I left the fronts blank to write the recipients names on them.
These little guys are only about 2.5" tall and about 2" wide so they will be perfect to fit in those little Valentine boxes they usually make at school. My oldest has already signed her name on the Valentine so that's done and out of the way too!!
There you have it! Valentines completed for 2017 thanks to Amanda's generosity!!! Such a super cute idea!!!

If you want to grab your One Dae Fae pop over to the Faery Ink Store!!
Then come on by the Faery Ink Facebook Group to share your creations with us all!!
Don't forget to follow Faery Ink on Facebook for fun little updates and all the New Release posts too!!

Thanks so much for popping in today! See you all again real soon!!!

Mystical Christmas Card using Luna Fae by Flowers, Feathers and Fairies

Isn't that a stunning image!! I fell in love with it the moment I saw it!! I have been meaning to work with Luna Fae but Flowers, Feathers and Fairies since it came out in November but you know how December goes!!! But now things have slowed down again I have literally been hiding in the house with the kids since Christmas catching up on things and letting them get some much needed rest!!!
Flowers, Feathers and Fairies is having a DT call right now in the Facebook Group. This might be the lowest key DT I will ever be on... 6 projects for the whole year! At minimum anyway, LOL! And I completely adore all of her images!! Remember the Mer-Santa I did back in November? One of thier stamps!! So how do you not give it a go? Its the perfect excuse to finally color this image up and if I'm lucky I will get to work with Sabrina(the artist, who is beyond sweet) and some other talented designers!! So without further ado, here's the Christmas Card I made with that beautiful image!!

I would really like to thank Fabiola for the inspiration on the Design. I am entering this card in the Christmas Card Throwdown challenge and I just loved the way she interpreted the sketch so I rolled with it, quite literally!!

I love the way this card turned out!!! Coloring the image was so much fun! Doing another one of my lessons from the Kit and Clowder Elements of Nature Class always thrills me!! And I have another card done for Christmas next year!! Wahoo!!!

Thanks so much for popping in this evening to take a peek at what I have been working on!! If all goes well the next few days I will have some projects I finished during December to share with you all too!!
Ta-ta!!!

I am entering this project in the Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge- January Sketch
